First United Methodist Church

On Sunday, April 14, we will dedicate the Rolfe House in memory of Nancy Rolfe. The Church purchased the house and property and the Trustees have done a great job in making repairs and improvements to insure that the house is ready for immediate occupancy. Special thanks to Ken Brown for spearheading this project and keeping in contact with Nancy’s daughter, Joy, through this entire process. We invite you to the open house that will follow the worship service on Sunday, April 14, as we dedicate the Rolfe House to the work of God’s Church.

One Response to Dedication of the Rolfe House

  1. Joy (Rolfe) Day says:

Jack, Katie and I are looking forward to tomorrow morning. We are all very anxious to see mom’s house. I know she is dancing in heaven and very happy with the outcome. Thank you all for your friendship to my family and for watching over mom all of those years. Special thanks to Ken Brown and Pastor Mike for all of your hard work in making the purchase possible. Thank you to the congregation for your decision to purchase mom’s house. I feel happy to know even though mom is no longer on earth doing her good work, her house is now property of the church…her good work continues.
